> Tohfa is a gift-delivery service that lets people abroad send cakes, flowers, food, and curated gift boxes to family and friends in Afghanistan. ## What Tohfa does

Tohfa was built and is run by a team of young Afghans in Kabul to close the distance between Afghan families separated across continents. A customer in Toronto, London, Hamburg, or Sydney places an order, picks a delivery date or "as soon as possible," writes a personal message in English / Dari / Pashto, and the recipient in Kabul receives a hand-prepared, hand-delivered gift — with delivery updates sent to the customer along the way.

## Where Tohfa delivers

Currently delivers to Kabul, Afghanistan. Coming-soon cities include Herat, Mazar-i-Sharif, Kandahar, Jalalabad, Kunduz, Bamiyan, Ghazni, Panjshir, and Badakhshan. Customers can leave their email on a city-specific page to be notified when delivery opens.

- **Food** — same-day with 2-4 hour delivery windows
- **Custom cakes** — 12-hour minimum lead time
